Family business with 39 years of experience in upholstery of Recreational Vehicles and domestic and commercial furniture.
Family History dating back to 1981 were Con and Jim (brothers) owned AGE Furniture, in 1988 Nick continued on his own with a new company New Age Fine Furniture. Nick son passion started at age of 16, he wanted to join the family business. His dad made sure he competed an upholstery and furniture-making apprenticeship so that he could construct furniture and finishes it off with top-notch upholstery properly. That worked well.
Unfortunately, in 1989 recession hit and the family business closed. But for Steve and his dad they continue the upholstery and furniture trade under New Age Upholstery in 2000, which is still servicing.
We specialise in upholstery and restoration and supply some of the largest caravan manufacturers, commercial on sellers and domestic furniture retailers across Australia.

1997 Holmesglen Tafe Craftsmanship award was awarded to Steven with an honourable mention in the trade of upholstery.
1998 Holmesglen Tafe Craftsmanship award for encouragement in design was awarded to Steven for the trade of upholstery.
1998 New Age Furniture was awarded the Editors choice award for Sydney international furniture show.
Furniture industry awards held on 15 May 1998 the Joyce Australia Award for product of the year using foam was presented to New Age Furniture.
